DataGrid - How to get rid of the line between the Row and RowDetails

I am working with the DataGrid control and cannot figure out how to get rid of the black line between a Row and its corresponding RowDetails. I have tried modifying the RowDetailsTemplate, and the style for DataGridRow - neither of them seem to be able to get rid of the black line between the row and its details.

I pointed to the line in paint in this image here:

If you have any suggestions please let me know.

apparently this line is part of the grid lines.. so setting GridLinesVisibility can get rid of it, and setting the HorizontalGridLinesBrush property can change its color - unfortunately it doesnt appear to be possible to get rid of the line between the row and the rowdetail while keeping the line between rows.. i guess i can just put a line in my row style and hide the grid row for a reasonable solution.

guess i answered my own question..
