RibbonComboBox always editable?

Is there a bug with the RibbonComboBox?  It always seems to be editable even if you set this like IsEditable="False" ?

Also is there a way to put a regular WPF ComboBox in a RibbonGroup?

Yes it is a known issue and will be fixed soon.

Also, by design we cannot put a regular WPF Combobox in a RibbonGroup. All Ribbon Controls need to implement RibbonControl interface.

I am also curious....is it another known bug that when you make a selection the text of the ribboncombobox always looks empty?

For example:

                        <r:RibbonComboBox x:Name="RibbonComboBox_Ribbon_Theme_Selector" SelectedIndex="0" Width="170" Command="{StaticResource Ribbon_Theme_Command}" IsTextSearchEnabled="False" IsEditable="False" >
                                    <r:RibbonComboBoxItem Content="Office Black Theme"/>
                                    <r:RibbonComboBoxItem Content="Office Silver Theme"/>
                                    <r:RibbonComboBoxItem Content="Office Blue Theme"/>

When the user selects the Office Blue Theme the ribboncombobox still looks empty?  (It looks like the SelectedIndex == -1)  but the selected index is correct.

The same here :/ even when i explicitly set the Text attribute of combox it still displays empty content. Is there any workaround or maybe we are doing something wrong ?

Found solution by accident

IsEditable="True" IsReadOnly="True"
