how can i get the wpftoolit to work together with framework 4.0?

when i add a VisualStateManager item to my xaml-file in vs 2010 i get the following error:

The type 'System.Windows.VisualStateGroup' exists in both 'c:\Program Files (x86)\Reference Assemblies\Microsoft\Framework\.NETFramework\v4.0\Profile\Client\PresentationFramework.dll' and 'c:\Program Files (x86)\WPF Toolkit\v3.5.50211.1\WPFToolkit.dll'

thanks for your help

Shouldn't you remove the reference to WPFToolkit.dll since VisuatStateGroup already defines in PresentationFramework.dll?

In other words, WPFToolkit is no longer needed in your app, it's already built-in in .NET Fx 4.0.

Hi mahara,

you're right, thanks.

i was using some of the wpf-theme-files and calendars in my (migrated) project. after removing all the ref's to wpftoolkit i could remove the reference to the dll.

That's not much of an answer, honestly.  I was wanting to use the ratings control that is in this toolkit, but I cannot since I also use Visual States from framework 4.0.  Anyone have a suggestion as to how to get around this little snafu?
